DragoX Background
Welcome
to the world of DragoX, a gaming community unlike any other. Here at DragoX our
motto is “Once a dragon. Always a Dragon”
Both our members and leaders work together in a tight knit
group to create a really friendly atmosphere, which helps us get more done in
and out of the games we play. We try to help one another as much as we can when
we can. We have pride due to our members, and our leadership’s ability to
communicate with our members and others.
We hold Respect, honor, and loyalty at there highest here.
DragoX rosefrom the ashes during the RF Online Beta trials. While there we made many
friends, most of our current leaders joined us during this time. Even though
this was when DragoX was created the history extends further down the time line
than RFO. Our council elder and creator of DragoX Raxavier known as Mike to his
members started running communities back in the world of Anarchy Online. While AO
was a harsh world when it came to communities, cities to run, and events to
organize; it took more than the average group of leaders to keep a well oiled community
alive. Through this time both the Elder and a few of our current leaders learnt
a lot about how people think, how people react and most importantly how to make
a community more than a just a community, how to make it a home.
When DragoX
was created Raxavier vowed not to make the same mistakes he had seen in other
communities, DragoX was going to be different; a place where you can come home
from a hard day at work, unwind in a virtual world for a few hours and feel
welcome. Higher ranks didn’t mean that one person was “better” then another;
rather they were more experienced and knowledgeable of the overall rules and
regulations. Just think of our ranking system as you and your friends. If you
and your mates are all visiting someone’s house you are to respect the rules
and regulations of the dwelling you are staying at. These wouldn’t be strict
rules; they would be rules of common courtesy. When someone else is speaking or
has their own opinion it is respected by the rest of the community.
The core of
DragoX is respect; we are a family of gamers that pull together in any
situation. Our members exhibit many traits including loyalty, honor and
maturity. Our leaders and members understand that no matter where we are in
cyberspace, whether it be forums, Internet Relay Chat, or in game; we do not
disgrace our community. Our goal is to show everyone how great our family
really is. We always remember, our community is only as good as it members and
are proud to say that we have some pretty good ones.
