Polarity guns are similar to machine guns in that they feature a high rate of fire and consume significant ammo or energy. They are also single-target in nature, but they deliver reasonable damage once a sapper gets used to their range and firing demands.

Assume a defensive crouch, bead in on your target, then attack with the polarity gun. When the target reaches roughly half of its health, release the trigger and watch as the weapon equalizes the energy streams. This delivers considerable damage, often killing the target outright. Refine your timing to increase the weapon’s efficiency.

This weapon overheats quickly. AFS experts advise sappers to carry two such weapons, alternating their use, so that they may be allowed to cool.

It has 5 variants:

- Electro
